About Us
The Partnership for Technology-Enabled Transformation in Community Health (PTECH) is a HRSA-funded Health Center Controlled Network (HCCN) of 46 community health centers across multiples states focused on quality improvement in health care through the adoption of health information technology. This three-year project (2019-2022) provides technical assistance, consulting, and training to 45 Participating Health Centers (PHCs) in order to meet core objectives in three areas: 1) enhancing the patient and provider experience, 2) advancing interoperability, and 3) increasing the use of data to enhance value.
PTECH is administered by AllianceChicago and the Illinois Primary Health Care Association (IPHCA) through a HCCN grant awarded by the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) in August 2019. The 45 PHCs in PTECH are located throughout California, Illinois, Indiana, New York, Maryland, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Wyoming.
“The partnership with AllianceChicago is a tremendous opportunity for Illinois health centers to continue delivering significant value to the state’s healthcare delivery system by utilizing data and information technology to increase quality outcomes,” said Jordan Powell, President & CEO of the Illinois Primary Health Care Association. “We’re excited to leverage the expertise of our organizations to assist health centers in the areas of electronic health record interoperability, patient engagement and the enhancement of the provider/patient experience.”
“We are excited to link our complimentary experience and strengths in areas of focus with those of IPHCA in the engagement of Illinois Health Centers as leaders, with other health centers across the country, in advancing the thoughtful use of technology to improve health,” said Fred Rachman, CEO of AllianceChicago.
