Across the country, COVID-19 has greatly impacted the way CHCs deliver care to their communities. In order to plan for the upcoming months and years, it is important for CHCs to capture and understand the financial impact of COVID-19 to continue to adapt, operate, and emerge into a new normal.
BKD, a national CPA and Advisory firm was engaged by PTECH to develop a dynamic financial tool (using publicly available data sources such as UDS, OMB’s Federal Audit Clearinghouse, Medicaid and Medicare Cost Reports) for its 46 Participating Health Centers to model multiple scenarios from worst to best cases.
The Impact analysis tool will be explained and demonstrated on this webinar to PTECH health center leadership. The tool will be made available to each PTECH health center to support their ongoing work in: Strategic planning; crucial conversations with CHC board members about the potential financial implications of the pandemic; Necessary operational pivots required to strengthen CHC fiscal health and sustainability.
